Kelsey B. Cooper, Founder

Education and Experience

Kelsey graduated from the University of La Verne with a Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies where she earned her Paralegal Certificate.  Kelsey was inducted into the Alpha Chi National Honor Society as well as the Lambda Epsilon Chi National Honor Society in Paralegal/Legal Studies. Upon graduation, Kelsey immediately started work as a Paralegal in a well-respected Orange County Elder Law Firm where she spent all her time and energy absorbing a vast legal knowledge in trust and estate matters.  Kelsey is a third-year law student at Western State College of Law.

Kelsey's experience includes, but is not limited to: 

  • Drafting estate planning documents for clients with all different needs
  • Conducting Trust Administrations from start to finish including: Notification by Trustee, 13100 Declarations, Real Property Transfers, Distribution Agreements, etc.
  • Preparing Probate Code compliant accountings for trusts, probates, and conservatorships
  • Conducting signings of estate planning documents with thorough review of documents with clients
  • Preparing and filing all necessary documents to start a Conservatorship and providing support after initial filing
  • Preparing and filing all necessary documents to open a Probate and providing support after initial filing through final distribution
  • Researching and identifying appropriate judicial decisions relevant to cases and delivering analysis and assessments to supervising attorneys
  • Developing highly researched, articulate, and polished legal documents, including motions and briefs, to support litigation processes and court proceedings
  • Organizing evidence, exhibits, motions and subpoenas to support cases and prepare for trial
  • Managing day-to-day legal activities such as subpoena services and scheduling depositions 
  • Preparing discovery to be propounded and responding to discovery requests
  • Completing electronic court filings at the state level
